Depart in the morning and journey through the central highlands to the floor of the Great Rift Valley, stopping briefly at the stunning Thomson Falls in Nyahururu. Arrive at Lake Nakuru Lodge or Sarova Lion Hill in time for lunch before heading out on an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is famous for its flamingo flocks and over 400 other bird species. The park is also home to diverse wildlife, including Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhinos, lions, leopards, buffalo, waterbuck, and more. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast at the lodge, drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley to the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. The Mara is teeming with wildlife, with over 450 recorded species. Expect to see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, leopards, and a variety of antelopes. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Spend two full days exploring the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. Spot giraffes grazing in the distance, a pride of lions resting in clumps of bushes, or a rhino lumbering across the savannah. With a little luck, you may encounter cheetahs or a herd of elephants crossing your path. Even the smaller animals provide entertainment—watch warthogs dart about with comical bursts of energy.
